Our delicious shade grown Arabica coffees come from the beautiful jungle-covered foothills of the Peruvian Highlands.

Our beans are harvested by hand and are slowly roasted to bring out their full flavor and strong aroma. These Peruvian coffees have it all: body, excellent tastes, balanced acidities as well as interesting and exceptional aromas.

This is thought to be the first species of coffee ever to be cultivated. It originated in the Ethiopia and Yemen region. It is considered to produce gourmet coffees and contains less caffeine than any other commercially cultivated species of coffees.
Peru has very fine coffees and is the world’s largest exporting country of organic specialty coffee as well as the largest exporter of fair trade coffee to the US. Its beautiful jungle covered foothills are perfectly suited for premium species like Arabica. Fair trade coffee growers are guaranteed a minimum "fair trade price" for their coffee that allows them not to lose money. This method of trade excludes the coffee trader, therefore giving the farmers higher profits. Coffee importers and roasters agree to develop a direct long term business relationship providing stability to the markets.
Organic coffee beans are produced without the use of pesticides or herbicides. This definition can be extended to include an emphasis on recycling, composting and protecting the environment.
