Green Awakening coffee also offers the following social benefits:

• Supporting women entrepreneurial efforts by marketing, "Cafe Mujer", a coffee grown solely by women. This effort increases their social, economic and political power within their communities.
• Creating an Education Fund for the children of our farmers. We give 50¢ of every sale to an education fund self-managed by the cooperatives to help provide school supplies and support education initiatives for their children.
• Offering training and technical support programs. We want to help small farmers increase their crop yields by as much as 100%. These programs will be possible thanks to a partnership with local official institutions.
• Providing a real alternative to illegal crops. Collaborating with the American and Peruvian governments in the Coca Substitution Program by providing attractive alternative crops to farmers.
